So first of all a little bit about myself. My name Mellanie, I’m a 43 year old mother of two and I’ve struggled with being overweight for the last 10 years of my life, from the moment I got pregnant with my first child, my 9 year old son Trevor.
I’ve tried a lot of different diets, workouts to lose weight, some of them worked at first but eventually I would put everything back on. And some didn’t work at all. I would go at it for a month and I didn’t have anything to show for all the effort I’d put into it.
When I found the Venus Factor program I was so sceptical especially since it was an online weight loss program and I’ve heard so many bad stuff about these types of programs that I almost didn’t try it. The only thing that got me to sign up was the money back guarantee which I never used because from all the things I tried to lose weight, the Venus Factor 12 week diet plan was the one that actually worked and I ended up losing about 68 pounds.
The program is easy at first but it gets more challeging as the weeks go by. But what I really liked about it was the flexible meal plan. I mean it was like it was customized to me only. There is a wide range of foods and dishes you can prepare and they teach everything.
Also one of the best things about this, besides being a diet designed for women only, is the community of ladies you join when you sign up for VF. I remember there were days when all I wanted to do was quit and somehow I always went online on the VF community forums and I found someone same as me and I always got the motivation I needed to move forward.
Everyone is so encouraging and understanding and they really get what you’re going through. John Barban the creator of Venus Factor is also available on a weekly schedule to talk to and he always comes up with new information, new tips, new ways you can get your body in the shape you’ve always dreamed of.
Julia, who I met during the 3rd week of the program and with who I’m still close friends today has been an amazing support for me. I really don’t know how I would have gotten through the whole diet plan if it wasn’t for her. Her website Get Venused which is all about weight loss tips for women, was a great resource for me and for other girls that were struggling to keep up with everything.
Well… I really don’t know what else to tell you. If you’re looking for a full VF review there are so many yoiu can find online, but I recommend you watch the ones on Youtube if you want to get the important details about this weight loss system.
Anyway, have a great day and I really hope to see more of you on my blog. Cheers.
Approximately 45% of adults have a snoring problem. Snoring not only affects yourself, if left unchecked you can develop heart problems, but it also affects the people around you. I’m sure you know someone who snores, maybe it’s your partner, an uncle or one of your parents.
With that being said I want to give you 3 bits of advice to help you with your snoring. This isn’t anything new, it’s just some advice that I received from other people who had a snoring problem.
The most straightforward way to cure your snoring is to use an anti snoring device. These types of devices come in 2 forms, a chin strap or an oral mouthpiece. I’ve used a mouthpiece and it helped me a lot. My girlfriend at the time told me that my snoring had gotten better and I noticed it myself when I recorded myself while I was sleeping.
Probably the best stop snoring mouthpiece and the one I was using is the Zyppah anti snoring mouthpiece. I’m not going to talk too much about it here but you can find a more detailed ZYPPAH review if you do a search online for it. There’s also a video below you can watch.
The second way is to avoid any alchool or sleeping pills. Both alchool and sleeping pills make the muscles in the back of your throat more relaxed, this is why you snore. Drinking alchool 4 or 5 hours before you go to sleep will always make your snoring more intense.
Another thing which it also worked for me was to change all the pillows in the bedroom. A good habit to have regarding pillows is to change them every 6 months. This is because dust mites can form in your pillows which can cause allergic reactions.
Also if you have pets, don’t let them sleep on your pillows, because you can breath in animal dander which also causes allergic reactions.
Something I forgot about the mouthguard. It takes a couple of days to get used to it in your mouth while you’re trying to fall asleep. I remember the first morning I woke up with a sore jaw, but that stopped after the second night. All in all it will take you about 4 to 5 days to get comfortable with a mouthpiece.
As I said snoring can lead to sleep apnea which can in turn lead to heart disease. Another thing I wanted to touch base on and this isn’t related to snoring but it’s got everything to do with heart conditions. I’m talking about varicose veins. Although most people will tell you that the best way to treat varicose veins is through surgery, there is also Venorex, a very efficient cream againts varicose veins. Here’s a video that talks more about it.
You can find more Venorex reviews online, just do a quick search if you want to know more about the product. This is off topic I know, but I just wanted to get this info out for anyone who has this particular problem.
It seems so unreal to most of us parents but the fact is that the potty training in 3 days method can work if you know how to prepare yourself and your child before the training starts.
So many people fail to understand that just because the 3 days were a success that does not mean you’re daughter or your boy is completely potty trained.
This method is just the initial transition from diapers to using the potty, but there is still a long way to go before you’ll child will become accident free.
I got this potty training tip from my mother in law: it’s never to soon to start using rewards.
There are a couple of things you need to do to prepare yourself for the toilet training process:
- don’t put pressure on your child by having too many expectations
- take in consideration everything that might possibly go wrong and plan ahead
- do not compare your child with other children who have already been potty trained.
When I potty trained my little girl, I made so many mistakes I thought it would take forever, but she actually got the hang of it pretty quick. I think this was that despite all the failures we had, there was always a positive attitude.
As for preparing your toddler to start potty training, just make sure he knows the words for pee or poo, potty. Also it helps if he or she is familiar with the bathroom and the potty chair.
