Undeniably the brains of the group he has a natural aptitude for science and technology. In most popular media he is the one wearing the purple bandana (excepting the Mirage comics where all the turtles wear red), and his signature weapon is the bo staff. He is named after the early Renaissance Italian artist and sculptor Donatello (Donato di Niccolò di Betto Bardi). If you're a fan of the turtle in purple then please join!
